An excellent opportunity exists for a result's orientated Principal Reservoir Engineer to provide high quality engineering support to the reservoir engineering aspects of Santos’ field development and appraisal projects; through application of broad industry and technical knowledge.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

Working with gas and oil exploitation and development teams to oversee development of robust field delineation and development plans for key assets, including

• Work with senior members of the relevant asset teams to set out work scope for the field delineation and development plans
• Mentor and advise as work on plans is progressed
• Work directly with asset teams to bring high-value projects to a close, as required
• Bring forward new technologies or work processes to improve the value of Santos’ portfolio
• Assist presentation of plans to JV partners

Mentoring and technical development of reservoir engineering staff across the company, including recommendation of training requirements

This is a senior technical specialist position, applicants will be degree qualified in petroleum or reservoir engineering, with relevant work experience and a proven track record as a performance oriented engineer. You will be proactive, have attention to detail and enjoy working as part of multi disciplinary teams.
