Asian Beach Games 2008 In Bali

Asian Beach Games 2008 is the Asian Beach Games and the first to be held in Bali, Indonesia in 2008.

Asian Beach Games will be held on 18 to 26 October 2008, and attended by 45 countries and regions all over Asia.

I awesome party just this arena is a multi-level sport to the Asia-2, which was held after the Asian Games 1962. However, export of Indonesia as the host does not initially proposed by Indonesia itself, when there are 6 other countries interested parties to organize this sport. So I awesome party just this is an honor for Indonesia, especially Bali for the province.
The torch carnival

To enliven inaugural Asian Beach Games, BABGOC Kirab hold the torch will start prosesinya at Mount Merapi, Central Java. In the mountains, the torch will be brought up disulut and with the help of natural gas.

From Mount Merapi, torch will be brought to the capital Jakarta and given to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and then brought to Bali to circumnavigate the island diarak across 9 districts and 1 city in the province.

Carnival torchlight procession will involve 45 per torch bearer region. The torch bearer comes from the world of sports, ranging from local athletes, athletes, national, international athletes, trainers, to the official. Torchlight procession of carnival is also bustling with 2,000 people will participate memeriahkannya.

Torch carnival also aims to show the unique culture of Indonesia, especially Bali culture to the world of international, particularly in other Asian countries.

Carnival torchlight procession will end at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana during the Asian Beach Games officially opened by President SBY.

Participant countries

All members of the Asia Sports Committee (Ocasia) will participate in the celebration of this beach sports, so in total there are 45 countries that participated.

Bhutan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan to the last to give confirmation on the participation in the Asian Beach Games.

From the 45 countries that participate, there are only 2 countries that precipitate atletnya in all branches of sports, namely host Indonesia, and Thailand which will precipitate the biggest athletes.
